How to connect your Amazon Seller Central account to FBAgent

Connecting FBAgent to your Amazon account takes about two minutes. You'll authorize the connection through Amazon's official OAuth flow, which means FBAgent never sees or stores your Amazon password.

Step 1: Start the connection.

From your FBAgent dashboard, click "Connect your Amazon account." You'll be redirected to Amazon Seller Central.

Step 2: Sign in and authorize FBAgent.

Sign in with your Amazon Seller Central credentials on Amazon's own login page. Amazon will show you the specific data permissions FBAgent is requesting: listings, inventory, orders, FBA reports, pricing, account health, and financials. Review the permissions and click Authorize.

Step 3: Amazon returns you to FBAgent.

Amazon redirects you back to FBAgent with a secure authorization token. FBAgent uses this token to read data from your account on your behalf. Your Amazon password is never seen or stored by FBAgent.

What data FBAgent accesses

FBAgent requests only the Selling Partner API roles it needs to do its job:

  • Product Listing - to detect suppressed listings, missing A+ content, and listing errors
  • Pricing - to detect pricing anomalies and Buy Box loss
  • Amazon Fulfillment - to detect stranded inventory, aging FBA stock, and fulfillment issues
  • Selling Partner Insights - to monitor account health, policy compliance, and performance metrics
  • Finance and Accounting - to reconcile payouts and detect fee anomalies
  • Inventory and Order Tracking - to monitor stockouts, incoming shipments, and order flow

FBAgent does not request Personally Identifiable Information (PII) or Restricted Data Token (RDT) roles. We do not receive buyer names, addresses, or other buyer PII from Amazon.

How to disconnect

You can revoke FBAgent's access at any time from Amazon Seller Central, under Apps & Services > Manage Your Apps. Once revoked, FBAgent immediately loses read access to your account. Your data will be deleted from FBAgent within 90 days of revocation, in accordance with our data retention policy.
